At the end of the two Lectures in week 9, the student will be able to:

- Clarify the role of mineralocorticoids in the maintenance of ionic balance of the body.
- Discuss the pathophysiology of the adrenal cortex
- Briefly explain the role of adrenal medulla in endocrinology
