Objective: To familiarize the students with basic functioning of the organs of special senses; humoral mechanisms, and reproduction.
Content: The physiology of vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch; Humoral control: control theory, positive and negative feed back, hypothalamus as link between nervous and endocrine systems; pituitary, thyroid, parathyroids, langerhans’ islets; adrenal glands and gonads. Reproduction, pregnancy, lactation.
